The San Francisco 49ers won't play in Week 14 as they finally reach their bye week. It's a much-needed week off for an extremely banged up 49ers club.
Going into they bye week they're dealing with a handful of lingering injury issues from their Week 13 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Fullback Kyle Juszczyk is also dealing with a rib fracture according to the head coach. That injury will be evaluated again after the week away.
While the club waits on their two most recent injuries, Shanahan also had updates on players who have already missed some time. He said linebacker Tatum Bethune and defensive end Sam Okuayinonu both have a chance to play in Week 15 coming off high ankle sprains, although he didn't express a ton of optimism about that. Kicker Eddy Pineiro, on the other hand, is expected to return after the bye week. He's been out the last two weeks with a low-grade hamstring strain.
The 49ers undoubtedly would like to get healthy as soon as possible, but it's also worth wondering whether they're eyeing Week 16 as a more important benchmark for returning players. Coming off their bye week the 49ers will face the 1-11 Tennessee Titans before running a gauntlet on the road against the Indianapolis Colts (8-4) and home games vs. the Chicago Bears (9-3) and Seattle Seahawks (9-3) to finish the year.
