Converse announced the latest colorway for the 'SHAI 001' signature shoe. He recently debuted the 'Winter Red' shoes. The red and green Christmas-themed shoe is rooted to Gilgeous-Alexander's hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The palette draws subtle inspiration from the winterberry, one of the few plants that keeps its color well into the colder months.

During OKC's playoff run, Gilgeous-Alexander dropped a new colorway with each series win. The first batch was inspired by one of his family members. Talk about a gutsy marketing decision to walk into the playoffs with the expectations to win an NBA championship.
Considering the holidays, expect Gilgeous-Alexander to wear the signature shoe on Christmas. The Thunder will host the San Antonio Spurs. It'll be the first time he's played on the holiday that the NBA goes out of its way to have a jam-packed full-day schedule.
The SHAI 001 'Winter Red' shoes will be available globally at Converse's website and select retailers on Thursday, Dec. 11.
