And MoState will need that momentum as it hits the road for two big road tests.

In our Bear Nation update, Missouri State had five players score in double figures against the Riverhawks on Sunday.

Cuonzo Martin enjoyed a breakout game offensively as his Bears were up by 27 points at halftime.

Five Bears scored in double figures led by Kobi Williams and Keith Palek.

Williams scored 24 points, his best output as a Bear and Palek added 20.

MoState plays at 6-1 Tulsa Saturday then at 5-3 Xavier on December 12th.

“We are a great shooting team we feel like. And we put in the hours and put in the work for us to be able to knock those shots down. And we were able to knock those down today. It’s just building on today and moving on forward. Obviously it’s frustrating to not knock down shots. But at the end of the day it starts on the defensive end, that’s where we have to work on and get better this week because we have a great challenge in Saturday against Tulsa. And we have to get better at that this week,” said Williams.
