If you're hunting for some Cyber Monday Apple deals, I've got a good one for you: the Mac mini (M4) is down to just $479 (was $599) at Best Buy. With Apple discounts coming far and few between, a huge 20% price cut on one of the best Macs ever released isn't one to pass up.

You're getting the incredibly efficient Apple M4 chip here with the Mac mini, and it's packed inside a tiny, 1.5 lb (0.67kg), 2 x 5 x 5-inch (50 x 127 x 127mm) frame. Not only is the price-to-power ratio off the charts with this PC, but so is the portability. It was already a fantastic value at full price, but with this $120 Cyber Monday discount, it's a no-brainer.

If you're editing tons of video footage, working with massive LLMs, or developing the next banger triple-A game, this is the mini PC for you.

With so much competition, it's not easy to be crowned the best mini PC you can buy. And yet the Mac mini (M4) prevails because it's just so incredibly performant for the price tag.

It earned a rare 5 out of 5 stars in our Mac mini (M4) review from TechRadar's Managing Editor, Core Tech, and resident Mac expert Matt Hanson because of its punchy performance, compact form factor, and unmatched value for money.

So, when you add in the $120 Cyber Monday discount? Forget about it. No Windows machine in the same price bracket even comes close.

There aren't many drawbacks to the Mac mini at all, but there is one glaring issue that only applies to some: this PC is essentially impossible to upgrade. If you care about buying more RAM and storage as the years go on, you're not going to be able to do that here.

Apple's latest 14-inch MacBook Pro is down to the lowest price I've ever seen it at, thanks to Cyber Monday. If you already have an excellent M4 MacBook, you don't have a major reason to upgrade to the M5. But, if you're still rocking an M2, or even an Intel-based MacBook, this is an excellent opportunity to get a much-needed performance boost at a very reasonable price. This configuration comes with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, but you can double the storage to 1TB for an extra $200.
