Esther Sedlaczek will host the programme, with Bastian Schweinsteiger providing his expert opinion. Tom Bartels will be on commentary duties for the match. The match can be viewed online via a free stream on sportschau.de. BVB Netradio will be reporting from the usual Black & Yellow lens. The reporters are Norbert Dickel and Boris Rupert. BVB Netradio starts 15 minutes before kick-off. It can be accessed on the homepage and in the BVB app on iPhone and Android devices. A summary of the match, as well as the press conference and reactions to the game, will be available on BVB-TV, among other places.

Kick-off: Unusual timeThe match will not kick off until 21:00 CET, which is 15 minutes later than usual for evening matches in this competition. Before that, the first leg of the UEFA Women’s Nations League final between Spain and Germany will be shown on Das Erste.

Weather: dry at firstThe weather forecast for Tuesday: it will be cloudy throughout with temperatures of up to seven degrees in the afternoon and a 25% chance of rain. The thermometer will hardly drop in the evening, with rain forecast from 22:00 onward (information correct as of midday on Monday).

Referee: Stieler to take chargeTobias Stieler will referee the match.The 44-year-old sports psychologist will be assisted by Mark Borsch and Marcel Unger on the sidelines. The fourth official is Dr Florian Exner. Christian Dingert will be the video assistant referee. Stieler will be refereeing a match involving BVB in the Bundesliga or DFB-Pokal for the 37th time. His record to date: 23 wins (most recently on 31 October in Augsburg), five draws and eight defeats. He officiated his first BVB match on 10 May 2014, when the Black & Yellows won 4-0 away at Hertha BSC.

Rules: A winner will be foundIf the score is tied after 90 minutes, extra time of two 15-minute halves will be played. If there is still no winner, the winner will be determined immediately afterwards in a penalty shoot-out. Borussia Dortmund emerged victorious on spotkicks in the last round in Frankfurt and have won eight of 11 penalty shoot-outs in the DFB-Pokal, the first one coming against Bayern Munich in 1992. Leverkusen have had to go to penalties 15 times, winning seven and losing eight, most recently in Lotte in 2016.

Kits: BVB in Yellow & BlackBorussia Dortmund will play in their usual home kit. Leverkusen will play almost entirely in white, with the chest and sleeves of their shirts featuring red details.
