Following on the success of the latest Predator film, Marvel has announced its latest comic featuring the infamous Yautja: Predator: Bloodshed. The series will throw the killer extraterrestrial into “an underground martial arts tournament,” which will give the Predator plenty of opportunities to make good on the title of the new comic.
Predator: Bloodshed #1 is written by Jordan Morris, with art by Roland Boschi. It is scheduled for a February 2026 release.

Over the past several years, Marvel has made the most of its Predator publishing rights. On the one hand, it has gone about integrating the Yautja into the Marvel Universe with a series of gnarly, rated-R miniseries pitting the deadly creature against Marvel’s greatest heroes. At the same time, it has delivered some solid new standalone Predator stories.
Predator: Bloodshed is in the latter category. The story has a great premise, one that Predator fans would sign up for a film version of in a heartbeat. Here is Marvel’s official synopsis:
In the near future, Earth's fiercest fighters have gathered for an underground martial arts tournament organized by a shadowy organization . But all hell breaks loose when an unexpected combatant enters the ring: an alien PREDATOR! Now the champions are battling not just for the grand prize, but for their very lives! Can a disparate group of competitors band together in time to survive the extraterrestrial hunter?! Choose your fighter, place your bets and brace yourselves for a bloody tournament unlike any other!
For fans who can't get enough of the Yautja after Predator: Badlands, this is the perfect follow-up. It is like Predator meets Fight Club.
The Predator franchise has evolved significantly over the years, and Bloodshed feels like both new territory and a return to form for the series. While the franchise has embraced the sci-fi side of its sci-fi action roots more and more, Bloodshed offers the opposite, putting the Yautja in a more grounded setting and situation. Expect predictably gory results.
Marvel Comics Has Been The Centerpiece Of The Predator's Revival In 2025
The Marvel Universe Is No Match For The Yautja
The Yautja just ripped its way through the entire Marvel Universe, proving its credentials as one of the most dangerous aliens in all of pop culture. Bloodshed dials it back, bringing the franchise back down to Earth, literally. It returns Predator to the core premise that made it iconic: one dangerous alien against a bunch of dangerous humans.
2025 ushered in a certified golden era for Predator, with the release of the greatest Predator movie since the original coinciding with a new high point in Predator comics, courtesy of Marvel. The franchise will seek to keep that going in 2026, and Predator: Bloodshed gets things off to a good and gory start that fans will not want to sleep on.
Predator: Bloodshed #1 will be available February 26, 2025 from Marvel Comics.
