The New England Patriots and New York Giants will meet for a Monday Night Football matchup to close out Week 13, and Patriots running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Rhamondre Stevenson present a tough fantasy football challenge.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementHenderson has received a bulk of the carries out of the backfield for New England over the last few weeks, and even though Stevenson is back in the lineup, he was ineffective in last week's victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
That said, are Henderson or Stevenson viable options to start in your lineup to end the week? Let's take a look.
TreVeyon Henderson start or sit advice
Henderson has been a pivotal piece of New England's offense recently. The Ohio State product has tallied over 60 rushing yards in each of the last three games, along with five total touchdowns.
Additionally, Henderson has a very favorable matchup this week. The Giants are the bottom-ranked rushing defense in the league, allowing 157.2 rushing yards per game. If Henderson continues to get a bulk of the work, he should be in for a big day in primetime.

Rhamondre Stevenson start or sit advice
On the other hand, Stevenson is on the decline. The 27-year-old has posted just 284 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 3.2 yards per carry, and has also dealt with a toe injury.
Though Stevenson could also have success against an abysmal Giants' run defense, Henderson is the clear-cut No.1 back. Stevenson likely won't see double-digit carries, so his fantasy floor and ceiling are pretty low.
Verdict: Sit
