Colts’ Sauce Gardner unlikely to play against Seattle Seahawks

Of the remaining games on the Seattle Seahawks schedule, one of the more intriguing ones is the Week 15 match-up against the Indianapolis Colts. With the game just two weeks away, Colts injury news starts to become noteworthy for the Seahawks.

With that, there is some big injury news for Indy, and not for Daniel Jones, who was able to play in the entire Week 13 loss against the Houston Texans despite a fractured fibula. Star cornerback Sauce Gardner, who injured his calf, is being considered week-to-week with the hope that he can return later in regular season. This news is being considered good news as the injury looked like it could be a potential season-ending one for the former New York Jets standout. Considering the addition of the statement “with the hope he’s back during the regular season” from Ian Rapoport, it seems like a long shot that Gardner will be able to suit up against Seattle. If Gardner cannot suit up, Indianapolis will have Charvarius Ward, Jalon Jones, and Mehki Blackmon as the primary outside corners, with Kenny Moore II at nickel.
