Ben Metcalf: 7/10

Very difficult conditions tonight but coped pretty well with them, was proactive in coming for the ball – although not always the right decision – and made a really smart near post save in the second half to keep his clean sheet intact.

Jenson Jones: 7/10

Did well defensively and got forward to offer support, particularly in the first half when he did well to hold the ball up and find Waters in the box.

Finlay Holcroft: 6/10

Was defending well in the first half but was also in the wars a bit and had to go off at half time.

Leo Hjelde: 6/10

A very comfortable night for Hjelde, cut out some crosses from Bromley’s right but very little for him to do.

Dennis Cirkin: 7/10

Never tested defensively with Bromley struggling to mount attacks, not needed much going forward either with Tutierov being able to do it himself but did get into the opposition box late on to pick out Waters for the fourth.

Jaydon Jones: 8/10

A clever display in midfield, often finding a line breaking pass to Harrison Jones and Ben Middlemas further up the pitch.

Ben Middlemas (C): 8/10

Some really good link up play in midfield and was always available for Jaydon Jones to pick out with clever runs into space. Played some nice through balls to runners around the opposition box, one of which led to the second goal.

Harrison Jones: 8/10

Caused Bromley plenty of problems with his movement around their box, got on the scoresheet when he followed up his own saved effort.

Rhys Walsh: 6/10

Lots of endeavour down the right wing without much penetration but was always showing for the ball.

Timur Tutierov: 8/10

Got on the scoresheet after following up Waters’ blocked shot but was always dangerous down the left, then it was hit shot that was saved for Waters to score.

Jake Waters: 9/10

Took both goals well, almost got a hat trick but Harrison Jones got to a rebound just before him and it was his shot that was saved for Tutierov’s goal.

Substitutes

Ben Kindon: 6/10

Came on at half time and cruised through the second half with Bromley barely getting forward.

Ethan Moore: 7/10

Made some powerful runs into space that caused problems for the visitor’s defence.

Charlie Dinsdale: 7/10

Was very bright when he came on, getting on the ball and driving towards the Bromley box.

Felix Scott: 6/10

Didn’t see much of the ball after coming on.

Man of the Match: Jake Waters

Two goals for the big man up top, making it five goals in five games since his return from long term injuries, but he was involved in the other two goals too. His saved shot led to the opener, with Tutierov following up, he almost scored the second but Harrison Jones nipped in just before him, then he finally got on the scoresheet with the final two goals. First following up Tutierov’s saved effort and then taking a ball from Cirkin and passing it into the corner. His general play was very good too, holding the ball up well and making some good chances by laying it off for onrushing midfielders.
