Sky Germany understands Eintracht Frankfurt and William Osula have now reached a verbal agreement in principle over a winter move.
The 22-year-old is said to be keen to join the Hessen club who are considering a loan with an option to buy for around €20million.

Although the two clubs are in contact, there is no agreement yet – decision now rests with Newcastle United.
Despite only playing a total of 344 minutes for the Magpies so far, Osula has proven efficient with 3 goals and 1 assist.
The move would come at the perfect time for Dino Toppmöller's side given Jonathan Burkardt is expected to be sidelined until January.
Osula joins former Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen marksman Niclas Füllkrug on Frankfurt's winter transfer shortlist.
