2027 offensive lineman names Tennessee football in top five schools

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star interior offensive lineman Qua Ford named Tennessee in his top five schools, along with Ohio State, Oregon, Texas A&M and SMU, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

The 6-foot-5, 285-pound prospect is from Texas High School in Texarkana, Texas. On3 ranks him as the No. 4 interior offensive lineman in the class and No. 11 player in Texas.

Tennessee offered Ford a scholarship on April 29, 2024 and has not visited the Vols.

Texas Tech was the first school to offer Ford a scholarship on Jan. 17, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include UTSA, Arkansas, Arizona State, Missouri, Arkansas State, Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Florida State, Michigan, North Texas, Penn State, Texas State, Houston, Baylor, Ole Miss, Georgia, Miami and Nebraska.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
