Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been nominated for the FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week after their big win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. It was one of the team’s best wins of the season and the Packers swept the Lions for the first time since 2020.
Jordan Love had a monster game completing 18 of 30 passes for 234 yards, with 0 INTs and 4 TDs, which ties his career-high. One of his completions included an impressive 4th down throw to WR Dontayvion Wicks late in the fourth quarter that sealed the game for the Packers.
According to Wes Hodkiewicz of Packers.com, Jordan Love became the only QB in NFL history to have a passer rating over 120 in three Thanksgiving games. Love has played (and won) on Thanksgiving every year since being a starter and has not had a passer rating under 124.2 in any of those games. They also beat the Lions in Detroit in 2023 and took down the Miami Dolphins last year on Thanksgiving at Lambeau Field.
