How to end a transformative year on a high note: better-than-expected land sales and adjusted EBITDA ahead of company guidance.

Alico, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALCO) shows once again how to write a turnaround story. With many operational changes well underway and initial successes already positively impacting key financial metrics, 2026 shapes up to be a breakout year. Fiscal year 2025 land sales came in $3.8 million above company guidance at $23.8 million and adjusted EBITDA was also comfortably ahead of the $20 million guided by ALCO at $22.5 million.

And the positive momentum has carried over into fiscal year 2026: Alico has already completed the sale of 579 acres of citrus land for $6.1 million and divested its office and shop for another $1.7 million.

Other near-term real estate development projects are moving forward as planned with an estimated present value of $335 million to $380 million that could be realized within the next five years.

But ALCO is not putting all its oranges in one basket. While transitioning to a diversified land model, the company maintains other income streams such as leases to third-party citrus farmers. This allows steady revenue generation without the need to invest heavy capital for citrus infrastructure.

Going into 2026. Alico offers much-improved land monetization visibility at an attractive valuation. Our DCF analysis shows that the present value of projected cash flows from land developments far outweigh the current company valuation.
