So, is the Onn for $9 good?
Well, it's not the beefiest device on the market, but it'll get the job done, featuring 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The device also outputs at a maximum of 1080p, so if you need better resolution, you're best going with the Google TV 4K Pro, which is now also on sale for $45.
The Onn supports most if not all popular streaming services, and you can also download apps and games from the Google Play Store. You get easy search using Google Assistant, along with easy media sharing with Chromecast built-in. When it comes to the set-up, it's easy. Just plug in USB power and the device into a free HDMI port, and you're good to go.
Again, it's not a bad way to get Google TV on your TV or monitor if you're on a budget or just want to give it a try. The only catch is that this sale, as of now, is only open to Walmart+ members as part of its Early Access sales event ahead of Black Friday.
