With the Commanders down six points in the second half, Treylon Burks produced a highlight-worthy catch to give Washington the lead. Quarterback Marcus Mariota tossed the ball to Burks in the back of the endzone, and Burks made an outstanding one-handed catch for his second career touchdown over cornerback Riley Moss.
Burks just joined Washington earlier this month, entering this game with four catches in two games. This marked Burks' first touchdown since 2022, which came with the Titans, and his first touchdown with the Commanders.
