They suffered a 27-24 overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at State Farm Stadium, managing to lose a game in which they forced four turnovers, scored a defensive touchdown and didn't turn the ball over.
But it was more of the same for a Cardinals unit that scored points without being particularly good on offense and that couldn't come up with a stop defensively when they needed it.

The Cardinals remained at No. 21 in Davis' rankings.
In one sense, this offense has been wildly inconsistent in 2025. In another, it's scored between 20 and 27 points in every game but one.
What did change was going back to one-score losses. The Cardinals had five straight such losses before beating the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9. But that win was followed up by losses by 22 and 19 points.
The loss to the Jags was a return to the norm. They had opportunities to win, and because of poor coaching decisions and lack of execution, they couldn't do it.
