Philadelphia will head West on Monday night, and its opponent could be without one of the NFL's top quarterbacks. Chargers star quarterback Justin Herbert fractured his left hand today in the 31-14 win over the Raiders and is set to undergo surgery Monday, according to head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Herbert threw two touchdown passes while playing through the injury to his non-throwing hand. Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey had touchdown catches, and Kimani Vidal rushed for a career-high 126 yards for the Chargers (8-4), who recovered from an embarrassing loss at Jacksonville for their fourth win in five games to stay within striking distance of the Denver Broncos atop the AFC West.
