There were some big TSSAA basketball and TSSAA football performances last week.

Lawson Lee, BGA: Lee scored 19 points in a 48-27 win over Paul W. Bryant (Alabama).

Alex Cheek, East Nashville: Cheek had 19 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double in a 59-50 win over Hume-Fogg.

Castor Maynard, FRA: Maynard had 24 points and four assists in a 74-61 win over DCA.

Marques Anglin, Lebanon: Anglin led Lebanon with 25 points and nine rebounds in a win over Columbia.

Cam Blivens, Lipscomb Academy: Blivens had 31 points, eight rebounds and four steals in a 62-54 win over Shelbyville. He had 25 points and eight rebounds in a 53-37 win over Blackman, and added 27 points, four rebounds and four steals in a 54-50 win over Brentwood.

Chris Johnson, Nolensville: Johnson had 14 points and 11 rebounds in a 67-57 win over Smyrna. He also had five assists and four steals.

James Pierre, Page: Pierre rushed for 194 yards on 17 carries with a touchdown in a 43-21 win over Centennial in the Class 5A football semifinals.

Omarion Starnes, Pearl-Cohn: Starnes had eight carries for 63 yards and a TD, and also returned an onside kick for a touchdown in Pearl-Cohn’s 42-28 win over South Gibson in the Class 4A football semifinals.

Yon Kinzer, Smyrna: Kinzer had 37 points in a loss to Nolensville. He had 27 points in a loss to Ravenwood.

Jayden Thompson, Tullahoma: Thompson scored 20 points in a 55-52 win over Page.
