DETROIT, Michigan, Nov. 30 — The No. 29 Cass Tech [Detroit, MI] Technicians will take on the Catholic Central [Novi, MI] Shamrocks Sunday evening in Michigan's MHSAA Division 1 state championship game.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementCass Tech is seeking its second straight championship after winning last year's title game, 42-20, over the Hudsonville [MI] Eagles. That capped a 12-2 season for the Technicians who carried a 10-game win streak into the 2025 season. At 14-0, the Technicians have turned that into a 24-game running entering Sunday's title game at Ford Field.
Catholic Central also enters the game undefeated at 13-0. They'll be looking to avenge their 17-14 loss to Cass Tech in last year's Division 1 semifinals which ended their 2024 season at 12-1.
