After playing for the Chicago Stags and Baltimore Bullets during the 1947-48 season, Johnny Jorgensen came to the Lakers for the 1948-49 campaign. He averaged 2.2 and 0.7 assists a game that season and earned himself a championship ring alongside George Mikan and crew.
