After reviewing recent performances and upcoming fixtures, I made a few small changes to my squad. With some players injured and only one free transfer available, I’m sticking with most of my core team.

I want to keep a balance between players in form and reliable options while making sure I have a strong base for the week ahead.

Heading into Gameweek 14, I am focused on keeping things simple and trusting players who have shown consistency.

Overall, I feel confident about the squad I have put together. Here is how my team is shaping up for the week.

FPL GW14 Preview

This week, I’ll be replacing Newcastle’s Nick Pope, who is currently injured, with Burnley’s main man at the back, Dubravka.

Pope has a groin injury and missed Newcastle’s 4-1 win against Everton, so I had to make a change.

Dubravka hasn’t been too consistent lately, but given my options, he is the best choice. He’ll be facing a strong Crystal Palace side, and I’m hoping he can step up and provide some stability at the back.

With my one free transfer, I had to make a change in defense and decided to transfer Senesi out.

I brought in Chelsea’s Cucurella, who has been in good form this season and is delivering solid fantasy points for many managers.

He has Leeds up next, and I’m hoping he can continue his run and contribute well to my team.

Alongside him, I’m sticking with just three defenders this week, keeping Lacroix and Aston Villa’s Digne.

Both have been reliable in recent weeks, and I’m counting on them to chip in with points while helping keep the defense tight.

Together, this trio gives me a solid foundation heading into Gameweek 14.

In my midfield, I have Cherki, who I brought in last game week. He has been performing well, even though he isn’t a regular starter, and I’m hoping he can keep delivering points when he plays.

The rest of my midfielders—Mbeumo, Reinjder, Sarr, and Everton’s Ndiaye—haven’t given me many points recently, but with their upcoming fixtures, I’m hopeful they will step up and contribute more.

Up front, I have Crystal Palace’s Mateta, whom I’ve given the vice-captain armband to this week.

He hasn’t been too consistent in scoring goals, but he did net a penalty in Palace’s recent loss to Manchester United, and with Burnley up next, I’m hoping he can build on that and bring in some points for my team.

Alongside him, Haaland remains my captain. He has blanked in his last three game weeks, including in Man City’s recent match against Leeds, where most managers triple-captained him.

He faces Fulham next, and I’m hoping he can end this mini-dry spell and finally deliver the points I need.

On my bench, I’m still holding onto Pope and Arsenal’s Gabriel, who is currently injured. Woltemade and Van de Ven, are also on my bench this week.

That’s how my team is shaping up heading into this week. What do you think about my squad? Who are you bringing in or making changes to? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
