The Colorado Buffaloes are down their running back coach, as NFL Hall-of-Famer Marshall Faulk has left his post in Boulder to take the head coaching job at Southern University.
In a deal that was announced on Saturday after CU’s loss to Kansas State, Faulk is headed to his hometown of New Orleans to try to right the ship for the Jaguars. Southern finished 2-10 this season and fired former head coach Terrance Graves back in October.

CU finished the season with 1190 yards on designed runs that weren’t from a quarterback, along with 10 rushing TDs.
Colorado will now be in the market for a new running backs coach, but this is likely just the start of a massive staff and roster overhaul within the program. For more Colorado Buffaloes news, make sure to keep up with us here at Ralphie Report.
