By Cole SullivanShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberWe’re entering the part of the NFL season where weather becomes a major factor for outdoor games, and this Sunday is no exception.
The San Francisco 49ers travel to Huntington Bank Field to take on the Cleveland Browns in a matchup already generating plenty of buzz. Snow fell on the field from Saturday night into Sunday, and while conditions may improve slightly, much of the precipitation is expected to turn into rain during the game.
Temperatures are forecasted to hover around 32.8°F, with a 50% chance of snow, accompanied by strong winds gusting between 25 and 35 mph throughout the contest, making for a challenging day for both teams.

This will set the stage for what could be a very interesting game and possibly one that favors the Browns who are used to play in this weather more so than the 49ers on the West Coast.
That said, if it turns out to be a game where both teams are running the ball at a high clip, than that doesn't necessarily hurt the 49ers who often use RB Christian McCaffrey as a workhorse each and every week with his abilities to make plays out of the backfield.
For Cleveland, it could be a heavy dosage of rookie RB Quinshon Judkins, as QB Shedeur Sanders will also have to make his first home start in a Browns uniform in less than idea conditions.
...The matchup is scheduled to kickoff at 1 p.m. EST. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the 49ers are favored by 5½ points, while the over/under is set at just 35½. This low total suggests a potentially tight, low-scoring game as the Browns aim for their second straight win and the 49ers look to stay in contention for the NFC West title.
