Through the 2024-25 season, the Los Angeles Lakers have had a total of 506 players suit up for them, going back to their days in Minneapolis. Some were forgettable, some were serviceable, some were good and a select few were flat-out legendary.
During the Lakers' 80th season of existence (they were founded back in 1946 as the Detroit Gems in the National Basketball League), LeBron Wire is taking a look at each player who has worn their jersey, whether it has been a purple and gold one or the ones they donned back in the Midwest during their early years.

He started to emerge in his second season, when he averaged 13 points and 3.4 assists a game and got some votes in the Sixth Man of the Year balloting. Last season, Reaves put up 20.2 points and 5.8 assists per game, and once Luka Doncic came to the Lakers, many felt the team had a legitimate "Big Three" in Doncic, LeBron James and Reaves.
In 15 games this season, Reaves has registered 28.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 6.7 assists a game. He is well on his way to his first NBA All-Star Game nod, not to mention a big contract this summer when he's expected to opt out of his current contract.
