10 athletes on the Times Week 13 Athlete of the Week football poll

Following an outstanding 13th week of football action, 10 athletes were selected for the Shreveport Times Football Player of the Week 13 ballot of 2025.

Supporters of the athletes can visit shreveporttimes.com to cast a vote for their favorite through Thursday evening. The winner will receive a backpack, a meal card and some swag courtesy of sponsors Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission and Cosse and Silmon Orthodontics with the winner announced on Saturday.

The Week 13 ballot includes Braxton Patterson, Union Parish; Ashton Dawson, Evangel; Braylon Huglon, Calvary; Hayden Gilbert, Haynesville; Dewayne Palmer, Jonesboro-Hodge; Derrick Mitchell, Mansfield; Kaiton Packet, Logansport; Mark Copenhaver, Parkway; Grayson Nunn, Loyola and Miller Warren, North DeSoto.

They were chosen because of their performance last week or because their names were submitted by their coach.
