With Steph Curry set to miss time due to a quad injury, the Golden State Warriors suited up without their star point guard on for the first time since he suffered his injury on Wednesday against the Houston Rockets.
With Curry sidelined, the Warriors leaned on Jimmy Butler and others against the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday night. Five members of the Warriors tallied double-figure scoring performances against the Pelicans on Saturday, with Butler leading the way.

Gary Payton II tacked on a double-double off the bench with 19 points and 11 rebounds in Golden State's 104-96 over New Orleans.
Payton II helped push the Warriors past the Pelicans in the fourth quarter with a key run. After trading buckets throughout the game, the Pelicans held a 88-87 lead with four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Over the next three minutes, Payton II and the Warriors took control of the game with a 12-0 run. Payton recorded seven points during Golden State's 12-0 run. New Orleans went scoreless from 4:02 remaining in the fourth quarter to 46.3 seconds left in the game.
Starting at point guard in place of Curry, Brandin Podziemski tallied 15 points on 5-of-13 shooting from the field with three made 3-pointers to go alon with six assists and five rebounds.
In his first game since Nov. 12, Jonathan Kuminga scored 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting from the field with a pair of made 3-pointers that came on back-to-back possessions.
