Bayern Munich manager Kompany was recently praised by Uli Hoeneß for his focus and commitment to winning.
“There’s no such thing as perfection. Even when we’re doing well, we always want more – that will remain the case. I handle praise the same way I handle criticism. I’m focusing on the next game. We have a good feeling at the club, also in terms of the atmosphere. I want to do my job, motivate the boys, and make sure they make the right decisions. Anything can happen in a game, but I’m confident that we can always be successful,” said Kompany (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

“You have to find your place in this business and also find your happiness. I also pay attention to the details, I’ve often had this leadership role in my life. If we maintain consistency on the pitch, the lads know that if things go badly, we can take steps forward again. Creating this environment is what I like to do. I’m very happy to be able to talk about football. When I have the opportunity to talk to Uli Hoeneß or Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, I really appreciate the chance to learn from their vast experience in football,” said Kompany.
It is not easy to impress Hoeneß, which tells you exactly how good of a job Kompany is doing.
