This is Norwell's first Super Bowl appearance since 1999, and the Clippers are contending for their fourth championship crown. The team made three consecutive EMass. Division 4B championship games from 1997-99 with titles in '97 and '98.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementFairhaven has now made the past three Division 6 Super Bowls, losing last year to Hudson without injured star running back Justin Marques and defeating Salem in 2023.
Seven other state champions will be crowned throughout the weekend. Two games are scheduled for both Thursday and Friday before a grand finale with four games on Saturday.
Norwell vs. Fairhaven game details
When: Thursday, Dec. 4, at 7:45 p.m.
Where: Gillette Stadium, 1 Patriot Place, Foxborough, MA
Tale of the tape: Norwell enters play with an 9-3 record following postseason wins over No. 16 Case (30-0 final), No. 8 Pentucket (41-14 final) and No. 5 Hudson (21-7 final).

Norwell's regular-season losses came against Division 4 finalist Scituate (34-28 final) and Abington (21-14 final). The team lost to Hanover on Thanksgiving (49-8 final) after clinching the Super Bowl spot.
Fairhaven's dropped its only loss this year to West Bridgewater (47-43 final) on the road on Oct. 10.
Tickets for Norwell vs. Fairhaven Super Bowl
Tickets for the MIAA Super Bowls will go on sale, starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, on Ticketmaster. All tickets must be purchased digitally as none will be sold at the stadium.
