The Moroccan midfielder was involved in a poorly executed aerial challenge, which also forced Isco to abandon his teammates. Despite this worrying incident, it remains uncertain whether Amrabat will feature in Sunday's match.

Speaking ahead of the game on Saturday, Manuel Pellegrini refused to jump to any conclusions: "We can't make a decision yet. Sofyan is undergoing the necessary treatment and we're waiting for the green light from the medical staff," said the Betis manager.
