Earlier this month, UEFA gave Barcelona the green light to host their Champions League game against Eintracht Frankfurt at the iconic Camp Nou.
Barcelona are slated to take on Frankfurt on December 9, in what could be the first UCL game at the Camp Nou in over two and a half years.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the inspection was far from a routine walkthrough. UEFA inspectors utilised the live environment of the La Liga clash to carry out an exhaustive review of the remodelled stadium’s operations under pressure.
The primary objective was to verify that all systems are ready for the rigorous standards of Europe’s elite competition.

Following several hours of technical supervision and meetings with club executives, the outcome was positive. UEFA has officially given the “green light” necessary for the European duel to proceed without restrictions.
Crucially, this ratification extends to the specific requirements for visiting supporters. The inspectors approved the designated space for Eintracht Frankfurt fans.
It must be remembered that the last time Frankfurt fans visited the Camp Nou, it wasn’t a pretty sight for the home supporters.

With this final approval, Barcelona can now prepare for their grand return to Champions League nights at the Spotify Camp Nou with full confidence, ensuring a historic atmosphere awaits on December 9.
