1) Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Solskjaer is the Norwegian who has had by far the most connection with the club.
He has gone down in club folklore as the player who scored the last minute winner in the Champions League final to secure the treble in 1999.
Solskjaer spent 11 years at United and developed the reputation as “super sub” where he could frequently enter games and change them in Sir Alex Ferguson’s side favour.

2) Ronny Johnsen
The reliable centre back was a key partner of Jaap Stam in the treble winning side of 1999.
He won a total of three league titles whilst at United and his comfort on the ball allowed him to play as a defensive midfielder from time to time.
3) Henning Berg
Another central defender who played a key role for United in the late 1990s.
He spent five seasons at Blackburn Rovers, winning the league title there in 1995.
Berg arrived at Old Trafford in 1997 and despite spending only three years at the club, played an important role in winning two league titles.
