Nebraska Volleyball Caps Off an Undefeated Season with a Win Over Ohio State

Nebraska 3 vs Ohio State 0 – 25-16, 25-13, 25-20

Nebraska played a variety of line ups in their three-set win against Ohio State. Senior Maisie Boesiger started for the first time in her career with the libero jersey. Fellow senior Allie Sczech started on the right side. The two other seniors on the team, Taylor Landfair and Rebekah Allick are more typical starters and played significant roles in the win tonight.

Nebraska, as a team, just completed a regular season of play with an undefeated record. They in fact, not only won 30 matches, but only lost seven sets against all those opponents. They swept 25 of their 30 matches. Those are decisive win.

Individually, Andi Jackson finished this season with the highest hitting percentage in Big Ten history, .561. Jackson sets her place in the record book with this accomplishment. She does it by committing very few errors and through a combination of her speed and hard work. She gets up in the air with her arm in the ready position to hit at all times.
