SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — After falling on the road to the Americans, Syracuse bounced back at home, taking the 5-3 win over the Utica Comets.
The Crunch kicked off scoring in the first period with a goal from Jakob Pelletier. After the Comets tied it up at 1-1, Wojciech Stachowiak gave them the lead, pushing the Crunch ahead 2-1 in the first period. Utica again ties it up in the second period, but Matteo Pietroniro gives Syracuse back the lead with a goal in the second. Pelletier adds on his second goal of the day to push the Crunch ahead 4-2. Mitchell Chaffee capped it off in the third period, tacking on his first goal of the night, pushing Syracuse to a 5-3 win.
