5:01 — WSU 32, OSU 8: After breaking a 50-yard rush the previous play, Angel Johnson punches in a 2-yard touchdown.

5:49 — WSU 25, OSU 8: Ti'a finds Walker for a 12-yard touchdown to avoid the shutout.

11:35 — WSU 25, OSU 0: After a lengthy review, Vorhees' fumble is recovered by Oregon State.

Third quarter

0:13 — WSU 25, OSU 0: Ti'a throws his second interception of the game, this time to senior cornerback Colby Humphrey. WSU will take over at its own 13.

4:51 — WSU 25, OSU 0: Eckhaus takes it in from five yards out for his second total touchdown of the game.

The 2-point conversion is broken up by Oregon State.

Halftime

The Cougars are halfway to a win and bowl eligibility after working their way to a 19-0 lead at halftime.

WSU's defense have kept OSU freshman quarterback Ti'a in check. Ti'a has completed nine passes for 84 yards and no touchdowns.

Eckhaus is 13 of 21 for 165 yards and one touchdown in his final regular-season college game.

Washington State will have one more chance to reach bowl eligibility this season.

The Cougars (5-6) host Oregon State (2-9) in a rematch of the two Pac-12 holdovers.

The Beavers have lost their last two games after stunning WSU 10-7 on Nov. 1 at Reser Stadium in Corvallis.

Despite the consecutive losses, Oregon State may have found a spark in freshman quarterback Tristan Ti'a.

WSU is coming off a narrow loss to 20th-ranked James Madison 24-20.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on KSKN.

Series history

Washington State leads the all-time series against Oregon State 57-49-3.
