The Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics came out hot against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center on Saturday (Nov. 29) night, with the Georgia native putting up 19 points in the game's first frame alone on his way to a 41-point, 6-rebound, 7-assists, and 5-steal outing, tying his scoring season high. But Boston's hot start was not sustained, and when Anthony Edwards began to heat up, the game ending with Minnesota getting the 119-115 win seemed all but inevitable.
The Celtics showed some creative offense early by attacking Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert whenever they could, and Boston big man returned to action looking spry and playing some of the best basketball we have seen from him this season on his way to a 19-point, 18 rebound double-double.

The Celtics threatened to take back the lead late in the game's fourth quarter, but never fought their way back on top, Minnesota coming away with the win.
The Celtics follow up tonight's game with another road tilt vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday (Nov. 30) evening.
