No. 12 Vanderbilt (10-2, 6-2 SEC) defeated No. 18 Tennessee (8-4, 4-4 SEC), 45-24, in a regular-season finale for both schools. Rankings reflect the US LBM Coaches Poll in Week 14.

The Commodores ended a six-game losing streak to Tennessee.

Saturday's contest was tied, 21-21, at halftime. Vanderbilt outscored the Vols, 24-3, in the second half. The Commodores totaled 284 yards to Tennessee's 137 yards in the final two quarters.

Vanderbilt totaled 176 rushing yards to the Vols' -6 rushing yards in the second half.

Diego Pavia completed 18-of-28 passing attempts for 268 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for Vanderbilt. He also totaled 165 rushing yards and one touchdown on 20 attempts.

Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar completed 29-of-44 passing attempts for 299 yards and one touchdown. DeSean Bishop led Tennessee in rushing yards (97) and scored two touchdowns on 20 attempts.
