The Denver Broncos did not call up any reinforcements ahead of their Sunday Night Football showdown with the Washington Commanders in Week 13.

NFL teams are allowed to elevate up to two players to the game-day roster each week, and those players do not have to clear waivers before returning to the practice squad. However, there is a three-elevation limit per player each season.

Denver tight end Marcedes Lewis has maxed out his three game-day elevations and he was not promoted to the active roster on Saturday, so the Broncos will have just two healthy tight ends -- Evan Engram and Adam Trautman -- on the game-day roster this weekend. Nate Adkins (knee) was ruled out on Friday's injury report.

Denver also announced on Saturday that outside linebacker Jonah Elliss (hamstring) has been downgraded to out after not traveling to DC. He was originally listed as questionable on the injury report.

Sunday's game (6:20 p.m. MT) will be nationally televised on NBC. The Broncos are considered big favorites despite playing on the road.
