Lewis Hamilton has offered Lando Norris a motorcycle trackday after the McLaren driver admitted he was "very jealous" of Hamilton's famous day with Valentino Rossi, when he rode the MotoGP legend's bike.

During a light-hearted interview in front of the crowds at the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix weekend, several drivers were asked if they would be interested in trying motorcycle racing at Losail, a circuit best known for hosting MotoGP.

McLaren's Oscar Piastri immediately shut down the idea with a firm, "Hell no," adding that he valued his life too much to race on two wheels. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Racing Bulls's Liam Lawson both opted into the idea, but Sauber's Nico Hulkenberg conceded he was "dreadful on two wheels".

"I'm only half decent on four wheels half the time so..." he continued with a smile.

Hamilton, however, needed no convincing. The seven-time world champion has long been a lover of bikes and previously competed in a swap with Rossi at Valencia in 2019. He raced the icon's Yamaha M1 motorcycle while Rossi drove Hamilton's Mercedes W08.

Norris responded quickly to Hamilton's story: “I was very jealous of this. You got to ride with Valentino before I did,” Norris told him. “I started on bikes before I started with four wheels.”

Norris has spoken a handful of times about his early years on motorbikes and quads before he moved to karting, previously admitting that being a MotoGP rider was a childhood dream of his before he set his sights on Formula 1.

He added that a return to two wheels may one day be on the cards.

"I’ll make a return one day to the motorcycle ring and I’ll have a go,” he said, prompting Hamilton to offer him an invitation.

“We should do a trackday together,” Hamilton replied, to which Norris responded: “Oh, down after the season. Yeah.”

Fans were quick to share their excitement, with one commenting: "I need the 444 trackday PLEASE."

Another added, "Lewis and Lando trackday would definitely be something," as a third responded: "I would pay to see a Hamilton and Norris trackday."
