The Ohio State Buckeyes ended a four-game losing streak to the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday with an impressive and emphatic 27-9 victory that included a number of controversial calls.
During the first half, Buckeyes star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith caught a touchdown pass, but appeared to be bobbling the ball as he crossed the goal line. Michigan fans were furious with the call and head coach Sherrone Moore believed it should have been overturned.
"They said that he had control of it -- didn't look like he had control of it. They told me that it was inconclusive," he said after the game.

Moore didn't put the onus on the officials, though. After the game he made it clear the blame for Michigan's lack of success on Saturday afternoon landed squarely on his shoulders.
"Yeah not good right now, I mean it stings. Everybody stings, you sting for the seniors - the program. When you're in this 24/7, when you're in this for 365 it hurts, you know. You work tirelessly to make this be successful so it's not just about me, it's really about the kids and all the hard work," Moore said after the game before eventually placing the blame on himself.

"And so, you know, I'll put it on me. Always put stuff on me and self-reflect and self look at and see what we need to fix and see what we need to do, but it's gotta be better."
Michigan finishes the 2025 regular season with a 9-3 record with losses to Oklahoma, USC and Ohio State.
