LSU football is in the middle of its final regular-season game, facing Oklahoma in Norman. But LSU fans remained focused on the Tigers' pursuit of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin.
It's no secret. LSU is all in on Kiffin being the next head coach at LSU.

According to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz, things are trending in a good direction for LSU.
"There’s been a feeling among several LSU and Ole Miss sources today that it’s currently trending toward Lane Kiffin ending up at LSU. However as one source added, “But you never know with Lane and we’ll see how things go with (the meeting with Keith Carter)," Zenitz wrote in a social media post.
Zenitz mentions that its not final and Kiffin is still expected to meet with Ole Miss AD Keith Carter.
Ole Miss is still in contention for the SEC title, pending the result of Alabama and Auburn. It's not clear if that will affect Kiffin's timeline.
