The biggest prize in South American club football is up for grabs when two of Brazil’s most successful clubs of the last decade meet at Lima’s Estadio Monumental. The bitter rivals have dominated domestically, winning six of the last nine Campeonato Brasileiro Série A titles between them, and contested the Copa Libertadores final in 2021.
Four years ago, it was Palmeiras who reigned supreme, and they will be confident of triumphing once again after delivering a stunning performance in the second leg of their semi-final. Trailing Ecuador’s Liga Deportiva 3-0, Abel Ferreira’s side secured a 4-0 win in São Paulo to become the first Brazilian side ever to overcome a three-goal deficit in a knockout match of the Copa Libertadores.

In stark contrast, Flamengo reached the final with a dogged defensive display. Leading 1-0 after the first leg, they held on for a goalless draw in Buenos Aires against Racing Club, despite being reduced to 10 men after 56 minutes. Goalkeeper Agustín Rossi also made several top-class saves to ensure the Brazilian side reached their seventh Copa Libertadores final.
Sitting top of the league table and having won both games against Palmeiras this season, Flamengo will be desperate to avenge the 2021 defeat and secure the title for the fourth time.
Read on to find out all the ways you can watch Palmeiras vs Flamengo in the 2025 Copa Libertadores Final — including free streaming options.
