Quarterback Dak Prescott played a key role in the victory, throwing for 320 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the 31-28 contest.

Wide receiver George Pickens caught six passes for 88 yards against the Chiefs, but he thinks he could have had a bigger game if it weren't for the sun at AT&T Stadium.

In the second quarter, Pickens missed an opportunity to make a big catch on a crossing route because the sun was in his eyes.

Pickens told reporters after the game that it was the first time he had problems seeing the ball at home.

"It definitely did. Some of the guys told me, too. That was my first time having that," Pickens said of the sun causing issues, via the Associated Press. "Just coming on the crossing route, the sun was beating in my eyes, so I couldn't see. But made up for it."

Pickens is in favor of the Cowboys putting curtains down to block the sun, but suggested the decision was up to owner Jerry Jones.

"Yeah, I mean, definitely. But that's up to Jerry. But definitely curtains would help," Pickens said. "I really couldn't see the ball. It was the sun. Like I said, I always bounce back. Kind of like CeeDee bounced back from last week to this week. All you can do is just one foot forward, keep getting better."

Last year, Jones argued the sun gives Dallas the advantage.

“That really goes under the category of home-field advantage,” Jones said, via Pro Football Talk. “It should be an advantage to the home team, so I don’t want to adjust it for one reason because it is an advantage to us. . . . That’s our advantage. That should be our advantage.

"We get to play there more and we get to have it as an advantage. It has been an advantage for us to know where the sun is. I don’t want to change that.”

The Cowboys will travel to play the Detroit Lions in Week 14. Dallas will next play at home against the Minnesota Vikings on Dec. 14.

The curtains won't likely be down for that matchup.
