Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald entered this past offseason searching for his second offensive coordinator in as many years. Displeased with his first OC Ryan Grubb, Macdonald dismissed him and started the search for his replacement. He ultimately hit a home run with current Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.
Seattle's offensive has been firing on all cylinders. They enter Sunday's Week 13 Thanksgiving contest versus the Minnesota Vikings ranked third in points scored per game with 29.5. Free-agent signing quarterback Sam Darnold, who previously played for Kubiak in San Francisco, is playing at an MVP level.

NFL teams with vacancies are always searching for the next brilliant offensive mind. Kubiak was asked the question by Michael-Shawn Dugar on Thursday, and he responded with your typical coach-speak answer. He wants to win lots of games in Seattle.
One of the teams that already have a vacancy is the Seahawks' Week 12 opponent, the Tennessee Titans, who Seattle beat 30-24. The Titans are looking for someone to develop franchise rookie quarterback Cam Ward. The New York Giants also have a vacancy and rookie QB of their own in Jaxson Dart, though the initial belief is the Giants will prefer a more experienced candidate than Kubiak.
Other teams that could have openings come January include the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders, and Cincinnati Bengals. Kubiak will undoubtedly receive multiple interviews. Macdonald could be searching for his third offensive coordinator in as many years.
