Through the 2024-25 season, the Los Angeles Lakers have had a total of 506 players suit up for them, going back to their days in Minneapolis. Some were forgettable, some were serviceable, some were good and a select few were flat-out legendary.
During the Lakers' 80th season of existence (they were founded back in 1946 as the Detroit Gems in the National Basketball League), LeBron Wire is taking a look at each player who has worn their jersey, whether it has been a purple and gold one or the ones they donned back in the Midwest during their early years.

But by his fourth season, he emerged as a spark plug for the Los Angeles Clippers and averaged 16.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.
The following season, the 6-foot-7, 240-pound forward won the Sixth Man of the Year award with averages of 18.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. In the 2020 offseason, he stunned many by joining the Lakers as a free agent on a two-year, $19 million contract.
He spent one season with the Lakers and put up 13.5 points and 6.2 rebounds in 22.9 minutes a contest with them. In the summer of 2021, he was sent to the Washington Wizards in the trade that brought L.A. Russell Westbrook.
Harrell's game and production started to fall off shortly afterward. The 2022-23 season was his last one in the NBA, and he spent the following campaign with the Adelaide 36ers of the National Basketball League (NBL), which was followed by stints in China and Puerto Rico.
