Saints Spotlight: Week 13 vs. Miami Dolphins

This week, the New Orleans Saints head to the Sunshine State to face the 4–7 Miami Dolphins in Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season at Hard Rock Stadium. After standing out as one of the few bright spots in Sunday’s embarrassing loss to the rival Atlanta Falcons, this week’s player to watch is second-year WR Mason Tipton.

Following Rashid Shaheed’s trade to the Seattle Seahawks at the deadline and the departure of veteran Brandin Cooks this past week, opportunities have quickly opened for the 25-year-old Tipton. In Sunday’s loss to Atlanta—the Saints’ first game without both Shaheed and Cooks—Tipton hauled in three receptions on a season-high four targets for 22 yards, along with an electric 75-yard kick return.

After Kellen Moore highlighted Tipton as a player whose role would grow significantly following Cooks’ release, the former underrated free agent wideout logged a season-high 56 offensive snaps (70%), and that number should only continue to increase moving forward.
