Ole coach Lane Kiffin is on the verge of making one of the biggest decisions of his life. But there was a little bit of insight into which way he's leaning. He’ll make his decision on whether to stay put on Saturday. There’s a chance the decision has already been made.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementKiffin is reportedly lining up his coaching staff at LSU, according to NBC Sports' Mike Florio.
"It’s the kind of tidbit that quickly can spread on the coaching-industry grapevine, as folks agree to join someone’s staff — and as they decline the opportunity to do so," Florio wrote.
This is where the behind-the-scenes details start to come out before anything is officially confirmed. If Kiffin is seriously considering leaving Oxford, he'll have to move fast. While Kiffin hasn't confirmed his intentions, he's taking steps in the right direction for either possible outcome.
We’ll know what Kiffin is doing on Saturday. At least, that's the deadline he has set for himself.
