College football players to watch- NCAA Week 14

Ranked matchups, conference clashes, ruthless rivalries… the end of the college football regular season is near and features several headline stories across the national landscape. Here are a few impactful players that I believe Saints fans should keep an eye on this week. Check it out!

Akheem Mesidor

The Hurricanes will roll into Pittsburgh for a top-25 game this weekend with big playoff implications. Mesidor could play a pivotal role with his pass-rush prowess. The 6’3” defender has seven sacks and four forced fumbles already on the season and is on track to increase those totals.

Justice Haynes

Haynes and the Big House are set to host the number one team in the nation, the Ohio State Buckeyes, this Saturday. With ten scores and closing in on 1,000 rushing yards, the Michigan tailback is set to be a massive factor in how this Big Ten contest plays out.

Demond Claiborne

Claiborne’s stats are nearly identical to Haynes’ this season. The Demon Deacons play a road game against the Duke Blue Devils this weekend. If Wake Forest can end the season on a high note, it may put their halfback in a prime position to leap the big boards in the upcoming NFL Draft.
