HILLSDALE COUNTY — The Michigan High School Football Coaches Association has officially released its first batch of postseason awards, and multiple Hillsdale County (ISD) athletes earned MHSFCA all-region honors for their efforts in 2025.

These athletes will also be featured in the Hillsdale Daily News dream team, and some will be featured in postseason Daily News Choice awards.

Starting in 8-player, Division 2, Region 4, several Pittsford and Waldron athletes earned all-region.

For Pittsford, junior Hunter Peiffer earned all-region as a linebacker. Senior captain quarterback Jake Drawe earned all-region for quarterback. Waldron offensive lineman Aiden Boyd earned all-region honors for his senior year. Senior Spartan running back Troy Shamplo earned all-region honors.

Moving into 8-player, Division 2, Region 3, Litchfield offensive lineman Caleb Watson earned all-region honors as a junior. Litchfield sophomore Gavin Gutting earned all-region as a receiver and defensive back. Senior defensive lineman and captain Ben Baker earned all-region honors.

Senior Camden-Frontier quarterback Luis Castro-Thilo, an all-league honoree, was the RedHawk representative on the all-region list in Region 3 alongside fellow Litchfield athletes.

In Division 8, Region 3, Cameron Wheeler earned all-region honors for the Reading Rangers. The senior earned the honors for the offensive line position.

Heading up to Division 7, Region 3, Jonesville running back John Milks earned all-region honors. Milks will be featured in the Daily News choice awards.
