The Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium is one of the best stadiums in professional sports, but there's one problem: it faces the wrong way.

As such, during clear days, the sun blazes through the big glass area behind one end zone and fills the field with glorious sunlight.

Granted, it's great for aesthetics, but football? Yeah, not so much ... with a history of players having trouble catching the football with the sun in their eyes.

And on Thanksgiving, in the 31-28 win over the Kansas City Chiefs? George Pickens had his first encounter with the sunbeams, which forced an incompletion on him at a crucial moment of the game.

This led to a chorus on social media calling for the Cowboys to install curtains at AT&T Stadium, but as our Mike Fisher has reported for years, the stadium already has them; Jerry just refuses to use them.

Unless it's for a performance like Post Malone at halftime of the Thanksgiving game, as the stadium sure got hard for that.

So, when asked post-game on his thoughts about the sun issue, would the curtails have helped George?

"Yeah, I mean, definitely, but that's up to Jerry, but definitely curtains would help," Pickens said.

So, we have yet another sun incident that could have easily been avoided, but we know that Jerry likes the aesthetics of the sun drenching AT&T Stadium, even if it is to the detriment of his team.

Bad for football. Good for TV.

CeeDee Lamb dropped a crucial potential touchdown pass last season due to the sun being in his eyes. So again, there is a track record here.

But add George to the long list of people who want the curtains closed at AT&T Stadium.

Unfortunately, Jerry doesn't, which means the sun will always be a factor when the Cowboys play at home on those sunny Texas late afternoons.
