Texas Longhorns junior linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. will be a game-time decision for Friday’s matchup against the Texas A&M Aggies at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, according to the final injury report released 90 minutes before the game.

Hill was listed as questionable on the previous injury reports beginning with Tuesday’s conference-mandated release due to the broken hand he sustained against Georgia the previous week. But it does represent progress from last week because the team’s leading tackler was listed as doubtful before he was finally ruled out in the pregame injury report.

The availability of Hill is of increased importance for the Longhorns because sophomore linebacker Ty’Anthony Smith will miss the first half after his targeting ejection in last week’s win over the Razorbacks. Texas appealed the call, but had it rejected by the SEC.

For Texas A&M, running back Le’Veon Moss and linebacker Scooby Williams are both ruled out for the game.

[6:01 p.m. Central update]: Hill is not dressed and will not play against the Aggies.
